Clan Ranks

This is so everyone can vote and express their opinion on whether the ranks should be based on karma or based on how much you do for the clan.

When does this poll end?

This one doesn't have an ending date, at least not yet, I can always go back in and change it though.

Well, I think Karma shouldn't matter with ranking, just levels of contribution, which doesn't directly tie with ranking itself.

rank should be by participation (including how much you post on the forum) and kpd should be by how much you put in--two spearate things

How much you post on the forum should be irrelevant, since some people tend to post in everything they can. It'll basically be a competition, and clutter the board with useless posts.

Yeah, to advance in the non-karma ranks I'd say it's almost neccessary to at least be a member of the forum, but I won't be looking at how many posts you've done. Besides, it tells me if members are active and whether they've ever posted in a nice little member list in the administration panel. Anyways, I'm not decided on anything definite yet as far as non-karma goes, so that may change. I just think that you show some interest in the clan and it's members by joining and actually reading through posts and responding to some as opposed to completely ignoring it and never speaking to anyone. Although if I say that it might make people spam the forum with posts in an effort to gain ranks and that would be much worse than never speaking to any of the members...
